Google Ads Management · Cork

Google Ads that bring in actual enquiries, not just clicks.

You have either run Google Ads before and got nowhere, or you have been told you should be running them and you have not a clue where to start. Both are normal.

Most agencies make Google Ads sound far more complicated than it is, because that is how they justify charging €2,000 a month for an account they set up six months ago and have not touched since. I run Google Ads differently. Founder-led, transparent, and priced so that small businesses in Cork can actually afford to find out if it works for them.

The Fit Test

When Google Ads is the right move.

Right for you if

  • People are already searching for what you sell. (Google's Keyword Planner takes ten minutes to confirm this.)
  • You can spend at least €500 a month on ads. Anything less and the data is too thin to optimise from.
  • You can convert enquiries into customers reasonably well. Ads bring in the lead. Your sales process does the rest.
  • You need enquiries in the next 30 to 60 days, not six months.
  • You want to know what your cost per enquiry actually is, and you are willing to look at the numbers honestly.

Not for you if

  • Nobody is searching for your product or service. (Brand-new concepts usually need Meta ads first, not Google.)
  • Your monthly budget cap is under €500. The maths does not work below that.
  • Your website does not convert. Sending paid traffic to a broken site is setting money on fire.
  • You expect results in week one. The first month is data collection. Optimisation kicks in from month two.
  • You want to see every single campaign tweak approved in advance. I move faster than that and I need the trust to do so.

What's included

What I actually do for your money.

Every Google Ads retainer with me includes the lot. No tier system, no "upgrade for full reporting" nonsense.

Account setup or audit

If you have an existing account, I audit it for free in the first week. If you are starting fresh, I build the structure from scratch around your actual goals.

Keyword research and intent mapping

The right keywords are not the popular ones. They are the ones with buying intent for your business. I find them and rank them by likely return.

Campaign structure

Search, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns where they make sense. Segmented properly so we can see what is working and what is not.

Ad copy that does not sound like ad copy

Written by me, not by AI. Tested against alternatives so we know what gets clicks for the right reasons, not the wrong ones.

Negative keyword management

Half the job is stopping you from paying for clicks from the wrong people. I run negative keyword sweeps every two weeks minimum.

Conversion tracking that works

If your conversion tracking is not in order, none of the rest matters. I set up proper goal tracking via GA4 and Google Ads pixels so the numbers are real.

Bid strategy and budget pacing

Smart Bidding strategies tuned to your business. Daily budget pacing so you do not blow your monthly cap in the first week.

Landing page recommendations

If your landing page is the reason ads are not converting, I will tell you and either fix it (as a web design project) or send you a list of changes to make.

Monthly reporting in plain English

What we spent, what we got, what worked, what did not, and what we are doing about it next month. Five pages, no fluff.

How I structure campaigns

The 80/20 split.

Every account I run follows the same allocation rule. 80% of your budget goes on what I already know works for your business. 20% goes on deliberate experiments. New keywords, new audiences, new ad formats, new landing pages.

The 80% pays the rent. The 20% finds the next 80%.

Most agencies will run your account on autopilot once they have something that works. That is fine until the thing that works stops working, which it always does eventually. The 20% rule means we are constantly finding the next thing, not panicking when the current thing fades.

The flip side is that some experiments fail. I tell you when they do, in the monthly report, with what we learned and what we are trying next.

Pricing

What it costs.

Per-week management fees on top of your ad spend. The bigger your spend, the lower the management fee as a percentage. Same model most performance marketing freelancers use, just priced for Cork SMEs not London agencies.

The money-back angle.

Every Google Ads retainer with me comes with a 60-day money-back guarantee. If the agreed result has not materialised in 60 days from launch, I refund the management fee for that period or extend by a month free. Your call. Detail is in the contract. Ad spend itself is not refundable because it has gone to Google, but my fee is on the line.

FAQ

Things people ask.

Do I need to provide my own ad budget on top of your fee?

Yes. The management fee is what I charge for my time and skill. The ad spend is what Google charges to actually run the ads. The minimum monthly ad spend I recommend is €500. Below that the data is too thin to draw conclusions from.

How long until I see results?

Most clients see enquiries from day one or two. Optimised, profitable enquiries usually take 30 to 60 days because the first month is largely data collection. I do not promise overnight miracles. Anyone who does is lying.

Do you require a long-term contract?

Three-month minimum to start. After that, month-to-month. I need three months to do the job properly. After that, if it is not working, you stop paying. Simple.

What if I already have a Google Ads account?

Great. I will audit it for free in the first week and tell you what is working, what is not, and what I would change. If you decide not to proceed after the audit, no charge.

Do you do Google Ads for ecommerce as well as service businesses?

Yes. Shopping campaigns, Performance Max, Search, the lot. I have experience with both. The structure differs but the principles are the same.

Will you also do my Meta ads?

Often, yes. Plenty of clients run both, and there are real efficiencies to having one person managing both budgets. The Social Media service page covers that side.

What if my landing page is the problem, not the ads?

I will tell you. Honestly. I would rather lose a Google Ads client than take their money to send traffic to a page that will never convert. If the landing page is the issue, we either fix it as a web design project, or I send you a list of changes to make yourself.
